A Story
Once upon a planet called Earth. there lived several funny looking creatures called human being. now human being varied in height and size and they came in a variety of colours. they also had two rather stiff looking things protuding from their upper torso’s which they used to move things around and also wave about madly when they seemed to be experiencing some sort of disagreeable emotion. the other two rather spindly looking things where attached to the lower torso and this enabled them to move about, now these were much more workable than the upper stiff looking things, for the simple reason that it enabled them to move about. they also emitted strange sounds from one of the openings situated on the head portion of themselves, possibly the lower half because it flapped each time a sound was emitted. not all of these funny creatures sounded the same, each one had a variation of the sound but they were constant in that some of the sounds emitted were very rapid and others rather slow and far spaced. Now what was perculiar about these weird creatures was that they tended to group together according to their various shades and whenever one of a particular shade of human somehow drifted to another shade it was either pushed away by the other shade or pulled back by its own shade. then one day when Earth was dark and all the creatures on earth slept, save for the four legged ones (but that is a story for another day). there, once again crept along a human, on the spindly looking things attached to its torso, towards another spindly looking thinged human but lo and behold! they were from two different shades of human. the others would soon push or pull them away but of course they were all asleep, save for the two errant creatures. then the most astonishing thing happened, one of the humans stretched forth one of the upper stiff protuding things towards the other and this prompted a similar reaction. the human beings now joined like a chain began to once again move about on their spindly looking things, away from where both of their groups slept peacefully and as the earth began to lighten…
